until the celebrations start on the Square!

The first Barnstaple New Years eve celebrations exceeded expectations and was a massive success. Organisers were amazed by the amount of people who came to support the first big New Years bash in the town. Live music was provided by, The Alements, Milli Taylor and The Rhythm Aces. The stage entertainment was hosted by James Chapple and Tim Pryor. The amazing fireworks display was set off by Mayor Sue Haywood, Lydia and Milli Cross.

The event was raising money for North Devon Hospice who need to raise £2.5m every year to provide its services to local people.

A big thank you to Richard and the Team at The Riverfront Cafe on the strand who kept the organisers topped up with hot drinks whilst setting up on the day!

Bouncy land Leisure provided Bouncy Castles and Sumo suits free of charge and were taking donations for the North Devon Hospice.
